Features
The Bass Learnin’ Tool provides an Explore mode and a Test mode. In Explore mode, you can mouse over frets/strings to see what notes they are, and quiz yourself. In Test mode, a fret/string is highlighted and you are asked to identify what the note is. You can set the time limit, what frets to be quizzed on, whether to include sharps/flats, and several other settings.
New in version 1.1:
- Sound capability; in Explore mode, when you click on a string/fret, the note is played
- Ability to select what strings to include in Test mode
- Configuration is now stored in user’s local app directory (previous method of storing configuration in app install location did not work properly under some operating system versions)
System Requirements
The Bass Learnin’ Tool was developed under Windows 10, but should run under Windows 2000 and later.
Download
To download and install version 1.1 of The Bass Learnin’ Tool:
- Download the file. Click here to download.
- Unzip it. (Get a free zip/unzip program such as 7-Zip if you don’t already have one.)
- Run the extracted setup.exe program.
