Here’s a nice op-ed on WSJ, titled “The Climate Science Isn’t Settled: Confident predictions of catastrophe are unwarranted.”

Oh, and by the way, the pesky global warming “denier” who wrote this editorial is Dr. Richard S. Lindzen, an atmospheric scientist and professor of meteorology at MIT. He was the lead author of Chapter 7 of the IPCC’s 3rd assessment report on climate change. His credentials are pretty much beyond reproach. Not that this necessarily means he is right; there are equally well-credentialed scientists who have differing views. And to believe any expert just because (s)he’s an expert is to commit the appeal to authority fallacy. I am merely pointing out that the science on AGW is not in fact settled, as evinced by the fact that many highly respected scientists such as Dr. Lindzen hold dissenting opinions.
